Two people are dead and four others, including a child, are fighting for their lives in hospital after a massive house fire in Brampton early Thursday morning.

Paramedics, police and fire crews responded to the two-alarm fire at a semi-detached home on Banas Way, near McLaughlin Road and Remembrance Road around 2:15 a.m. Peel police said multiple 911 calls were made from the neighbourhood overnight.
