A heartbreaking video posted by Los Angeles cat café Crumbs & Whiskers has stirred thousands of pet lovers after showing a black-and-white cat named Peppermint sitting patiently by the door each day, "hoping that someone will walk in, see him and decide he is the one."
The clip, shared on Instagram, shared how the 1-year-old tuxedo cat gazes toward the café entrance. Staff said that he has been waiting for a home for six months—making him one of the café’s longest-term residents.
Crumbs & Whiskers, LA’s first cat café, opened in 2016 and recently celebrated its 1,000th feline adoption. The café partners with local organization Kitten Rescue , serving as a second foster home for rescued cats and giving the public a chance to meet them.
