Yet seemingly every week, more noise seeps out of the defending Super Bowl champions’ building.

The latest drama popped up last weekend when The Athletic reported multiple offensive players are frustrated with quarterback Jalen Hurts .

Those unnamed players, according to the report, feel Hurts is too reluctant to throw into tight windows against zone coverage, leading to more scrambles and checkdowns and, thus, fewer opportunities for the Eagles’ big-money wide receivers.

“I never run away from holding myself accountable,” Hurts said Wednesday, responding to the controversy. “I think that’s exactly what I’ve taken the approach of doing. … We’ve obviously got work to do, and that obviously starts with me.”
