SENOIA, Ga. — A Coweta County man is out on bond after being arrested on child exploitation charges, according to the sheriff's office.
In July, investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), alerting the unit to multiple explicit videos involving minors.
A thorough investigation led deputies with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office to issue an arrest warrant for 40-year-old Steven Hoover of Senoia and a search warrant for his residence in October.
Hoover was arrested, and electronic devices were recovered at his residence, authorities said.
Since his arrest, Hoover has been released from prison and is out on bond, according to the sheriff's office public information officer.
