RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. — Independence Bank and Logan County 4-H are bringing back a tradition with this year’s Brother Joe’s Family Christmas Country Ham Breakfast.
Originally founded in 1954 by Brother Joe Carrico and a group dedicated to helping families in need, organizers say the event became a yearly Logan County staple for decades.
However, after pausing in 2020, the event was revived in 2024 thanks to a partnership of Independence Bank, Logan County 4-H and Agape.
On Friday, Nov. 21, volunteers will prepare a homemade country breakfast featuring country ham, biscuits, eggs and gravy.
Plates will be offered for a donation, with all proceeds supporting Agape and its mission to provide Christmas gifts to families throughout Logan County.
The breakfast will take place from 6 to 9 a.m. a
