Mrs. Kathy J. Owens, age 68 of Benton, Kentucky died on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at her home.

Born Tuesday, June 25, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Warren Stockdale and the late Anita (Frazier) Stockdale.

Surviving are son, Joseph Owens (Tammy) of Benton, KY, daughter, Tracy Carey (Mike) of Benton, KY, brothers, Charles Steele (Sandy) of Erin, TN and Toney Stockdale (Pam) of Benton, KY, grandchildren, Jessica Carey, Katherine Williams (Cody), Kellie York, great-grandchildren, Phoebe and Luna Williams, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Robert Owens, and brother, Jeff Steele.

A Funeral service will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St
