WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) — Bradley International Airport anticipates more than 90,000 people will travel through the facility during the upcoming holiday period, prompting officials to recommend passengers arrive early to account for increased crowds.
Airport operations have continued as usual following the recent government shutdown, but travelers should expect longer wait times due to the volume of Thanksgiving passengers.
Airport officials said the busiest times at Bradley are between 4 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., and again in the later afternoon from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
“Arrive early at the airport— the busiest times for us at Bradley are between 4 a.m. and 6:30 and again in the later afternoon like 3-5:30,” said Brian Spyros, Bradley spokesperson.
