GRESHAM, Ore. — East Metro SWAT will conduct scenario-based training Thursday in the area of Southeast 184th Avenue and East Burnside Street in Gresham, according to police.

The training will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include a large police presence. Residents should expect periodic loud noises throughout the day.

Police said there is no danger to the public and the activity is part of scheduled training.
