LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska football team hits the road for the final time during the regular season this week. The Huskers play at Penn State on Saturday with a 6:00 p.m. kick-off on NBC.
“Its been a great week of practice,” Matt Rhule said. “They’ve been enthusiastic. They’ve practiced hard.”
Nebraska’s head coach said the Huskers got a head start on preparing for the Nittany Lions during the bye week. The extra time allowed advanced scouting of Penn State, in addition to improved health across the team.
“(Players) Recover a little bit from the stretch we’ve had,” Rhule said.
Nebraska heads to State College, PA with a 7-3 record, while the Nittany Lions are 4-6. Penn State snapped a six-game losing streak with a 28-10 win over Michigan State last week.
