Lane Kiffin’s future is again overshadowing Ole Miss’ rise toward a potential College Football Playoff berth.

Despite the Rebels’ 10-1 record and a bye week before the Egg Bowl, speculation surrounding Kiffin’s next move has intensified as rumors link him to openings at Florida and LSU.

The latest came Thursday when ESPN analyst Josh Pate said on Get Up that he expects Kiffin to leave Oxford after the season.

“If I had to place my money right now, he’ll be somewhere other than Oxford, Mississippi, coaching next year,” Pate said .
