WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Following Wednesday’s ethics complaint from 3 Watertown Council Members against 2 others, Lisa Ruggiero questioned whether the actions against her and Cliff Olney violated the state’s open meetings laws.

Ruggiero thinks it’s a clear violation.

“A quorum of the council took official action, spent taxpayer resources and initiated a city proceeding without any public meeting, without a resolution and without any lawful authority,” she said. (Her full statement is at the end of this article.)
