The Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdomswon't debut on HBO until January 2026, but the network seems to be quite proud of the adaptation of George R.R. Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas, as the spin-off has already been renewed for a Season 2. Thanks in large part to the success of House of the Dragon, HBO looks to have found its stride when it comes to expanding the mythology of Martin's fantasy series, whereas some spin-offs have previously been announced, only to be scrapped before getting a season order. House of the Dragon was also renewed for an additional season, extending that adventure through Season 4.
