BOSTON —
At the Berklee College of Music in Boston, K-pop isn't just enjoyed — it's studied! Recently, the school dedicated an entire week to an experiential learning platform professors called "K-Pop and Beyond," featuring Andrew Choi, singing voice of Jinu in the hit Netflix movie "KPop Demon Hunters."

The movie's popularity meant it was featured prominently during the weeklong series of lectures and performances. Associate professor Haengsoo "Ray" Seol, who grew up in Korea, teaches a K-pop class and has been leading the experiential learning week, supported by the CJ Cultural Foundation, since 2021.
