If you're planning your Black Friday shopping trip, Michigan retailers offer among the nation's best deals to grab major savings this season, according to a recent analysis.

Personal finance company WalletHub looked at 13 of the nation's biggest retailers and ranked their Black Friday discounts across several product categories.

"Black Friday remains one of the most popular holiday shopping traditions in the U.S., but it’s not without its challenges. Shoppers often face early mornings, long lines, and crowded stores all in pursuit of the best deals. In 2024, however, more Americans shopped from home than in stores, with 87.3 million making purchases online compared to 81.7 million million shopping in person," the study says.
