Former Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners pitcher Erik Swanson has retired from MLB after seven seasons, he announced Thursday.
Swanson, 32, played four seasons for the Mariners from 2019-22, and two-plus with the Blue Jays before being released by Toronto in June of this year. The righty relief pitcher finishes his MLB career with an 11-16 record, 4.20 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 281 strikeouts in 266 innings pitched.
