BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Lane Kiffin is now the betting favorite to become LSU’s next head coach, according to updated odds from BetOnline , as Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz and Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham emerge as alternatives on the board.
Ole Miss sits at 10-1 and remains in the College Football Playoff hunt, but the national conversation around the program continues to revolve around Kiffin’s future.
This week, reports circulated that Ole Miss issued a Nov. 28 deadline for Kiffin to make a decision. Kiffin denied that during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
“That’s absolutely not true. There’s been no ultimatum or anything like that at all,” Kiffin said. “We’re having a blast. I love it here.”
