ORLANDO, Fla. – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Orlando.

Crews on Thursday began installing Lake Eola’s 64-foot tree at Washington Plaza.

The tree will be adorned with nearly 2,000 ornaments and 200 pounds of lights. They will musically sync with the lights on the Lake Eola fountain.

The installation process is expected to take four days.

The tree lighting ceremony is Friday, Dec. 5.
