Let the casting speculation begin! The White Lotus creator Mike White has started preliminary casting on the upcoming fourth season of his HBO murder mystery anthology series, which will be set in France.

“Mike is writing, and he’s just starting the casting process,” Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, said during HBO’s press presentation Thursday. “It’s very, very early so I don’t have any names or anything like that, but he’s just starting.”

Casting for The White Lotus has always drawn a lot of attention because of the show’s pop culture status which has helped launch and relaunch acting careers, with most of the cast landing awards recognition as well.
