Emergency stabilization and "selective demolition" of the once-historic Grand Canyon Lodge and cabins is underway at the North Rim in northern Arizona.
Park officials were not specific about what would be torn down and what remains will be salvaged three months after the Dragon Bravo Fire tore through the lodge and scenic overlooks, leaving only some stone walls and the hotel's hulking chimney intact.
