At The Shadow Room, Nick meets Detective Burrow and a partner introduced as Annie — “ Nice to finally meet you, Mr. Newman. ” — who reveal an undercover operation probing a suspected fentanyl ring tied to Mitch. Nick tells them Mitch is actually Matt Clark, the predator who tormented his family.
