The Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, are being accused by prosecutors of using aliases in an attempt to mask their identities, Us Weekly has learned.
Us obtained court records that show Wendy, 41, filed a motion to quash a subpoena issued as part of her criminal case over alleged insurance fraud. The state filed a response on Thursday, November 13.
Per The Baltimore Banner, the prosecutors are attempting to obtain Wendy and Eddie’s financial records. The government believes the records will establish that the couple spent excessively.
Wendy’s lawyers called the subpoenas a “fishing expedition” and asked the judge to intervene.
The report said prosecutors claimed Wendy and Eddie have “40 credit cards and/or debit cards.” Prosecutors said the card
