BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) – Police in Minnesota carried out a sting targeting an underage sex ring.
Officers took more than a dozen men into custody, including one who works for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges called it “Operation Creep.” He was ready for the cameras when giving props to the band Radiohead for the idea.
“I’m a creep. I’m a weirdo. That’s the song these guys were singing. What the hell am I doing here,” he said.
The efforts led to the arrest of 16 men. One of them worked as an auditor for ICE.
“When he was arrested, he said, ‘I’m ICE, boys,’” Hodges said. “Unfortunately for him, we locked him up, put him in our jail, he got reappropriated to our jail.”
Another arrest was a staffer at the Minnesota Pollution Control Age
