The last social media post of Gary 'Mani' Mounfield , who passed away on Thursday aged 63, was a tribute to his late wife Imelda.

It is almost two years to the day since Imelda's tragic death. She passed away in November, 2023, after a three year battle with stage four bowel cancer. The couple shared twin boys, Gene and George, 12, who were born in January 2013.

In an emotional tribute posted to Facebook on Tuesday, the Stone Roses and Primal Scream frontman shared five pictures of his late wife and wrote: "Today marks the second anniversary of my Imelda's passing… we miss her every day, but we have learnt to adapt to her being in "the next room".… we cant see or touch you, but we feel your presence every day… rest well my love."
