FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons are working through a slew of injuries that will see prominent players sidelined for the team's Week 12 road game against the New Orleans Saints.

The team placed quarterback Michael Penix Jr. on injured reserve Wednesday with a partially torn ACL in his left knee. He will undergo surgery at a later date and will be done for the season.

"We'll have Kirk (Cousins), obviously, he's our starting quarterback, going out there and playing for us," head coach Raheem Morris said. "We'll sign Easton Stick to the active roster, get him acclimated and all the things that we gotta get done for him to get on an active roster.
