WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The University of Baylor is expected to announce the departure of Athletics Director Mack Rhoades, according to ESPN analyst Pete Thamel.

“Baylor is expected to soon announce the departure of Athletic Director Mack Rhoades,” Thamel wrote in a post on X. “He’s on leave from the school for personal reasons, and the sides are planning to announce he’s stepping away immediately.”

As KWTX recently reported, Rhoades is currently on “a leave of absence for personal reasons.” Rhoades will also be stepping down from the CFP committee.
