Federal immigration agents announced Wednesday they are launching sweeps in New Orleans , the latest site that President Donald Trump’s administration is targeting for U.S. Border Patrol operations.

The sweeps will last for an indefinite period, according to a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson. The operation had been christened "Catahoula Crunch."
