CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The trial of two men accused of robbing and murdering Brooks’ Sandwich House co-owner Scott Brooks continued with cellphone analysis.
Terry Connor Jr. and Steven Staples allegedly killed Brooks and stole $100 from his wallet on Dec. 9, 2019. Almost six years later, the trial for Brooks’ murder began on Nov. 7.
The trial continued on Thursday, Nov. 20, after a break from the trial on Wednesday.
The trial continued with the prosecution calling experts in forensic data analysis, including Special Agent Mathew Wilde with the FBI. Wilde created maps showing the cellphone data from numbers associated with Connor and Jr. were picked up in the area of Brooks’ Sandwich House at the time of the murder, a home associated with Connor shortly before, and Staple’s home afterw
