Padres offseason plans get lackluster update from MLB insider

The San Diego Padres are entering an offseason that has already been marred with change. Mike Shildt was a surprise retirement, and Craig Stammen was a surprise hiring.

San Diego is also losing Michael King, Robert Suarez, Dylan Cease, and Luis Arraez to free agency. With all of the departures from the club and the looming sale of the team, there are a lot of questions about what the Padres will do this winter.

Unfortunately, Robert Murray of Fansided.com predicts that the Padres, despite having the wheeling and dealing A.J. Preller at the helm, won't be making any big additions this offseason.
