BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KSLA) - A 34-year-old Haughton man is being held on a $3.5 million bond for alleged sex crimes.
Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives, working with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office of Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, arrested Christopher McFarland on charges related to the possession and distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
McFarland was taken into custody on Tuesday, Nov. 18 following an investigation that began with a cyber tip regarding suspected CSAM activity.
Evidence uncovered during the investigation indicated McFarland shared and received sexual images of children and engaged in sexually explicit conversations with minors online.
