A person was hit by four vehicles and killed on Interstate 95 in Stamford on Wednesday morning.
It happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Exit 6 just before 6:30 a.m. , according to state police.

The person, who police have not yet been able to identify, was in the right travel lane and was hit by a vehicle, throwing them into the left part of the highway, state police said.
The victim was then hit by two other vehicles.
All three of those vehicles left the scene and state police don't have a description of those vehicles.
A fourth vehicle was merging from the center lane to the left lane and also struck the victim. The vehicle became disabled, and the driver remained at the scene, according to state pol
