A woman was fatally struck by two vehicles in Jacksonville on Wednesday evening, according to a news release from Jacksonville police.

Around 5:50 p.m., police went to the 5000 block of South Arkansas 161 in response to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident, the release says. Officers located Alyssa Gibbon, 36, dead on scene, the release says.

The release does not say whether the drivers had been identified, but says no charges had been filed on Thursday afternoon.
