BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - FBI operations across Berrien County on Wednesday resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of large quantities of drugs, according to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office.

After executing 14 search warrants, Sheriff Chuck Heit said three people were arrested on federal charges and one person was arrested on state charges. Ten more federal indictments are expected in connection with this operation.

Police said drugs seized included 2,550 grams of fentanyl and heroin, two pounds of marijuana, 603 grams of cocaine, 4.2 grams of crack cocaine, one gram of crystal meth and 15 ounces of codeine syrup. Authorities also seized two pill presses and a kilo press.

Five pistols were seized, including one that was stolen, police said.
