STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- South Richmond’s Youth Wrestling Teacher Appreciation Match Night was a tremendous success as more than 175 people packed the gym to watch the 175 people to watch grapplers compete.

More than 85 wrestlers from 1st to 8th-grade, ranging from 45 to 250 pounds, represented South Richmond, IS 24, IS 75, IS 51, Petrides and the Tottenville youth wrestling clubs in an exciting and memorable evening, reports South Richmond coach Anthony Mirra.
