The Stone Roses' and Primal Scream bassist Gary 'Mani' Mounfield had announced a huge national tour visiting more than 60 venues just six days before his tragic death.
The rock star, from Crumpsall, rose to fame after joining The Stone Roses in the 1980s, and has died suddenly aged 63. Tributes have since been flooding in across the music world after the announcement of his death was made on Thursday (November 20).

His tragic death comes less than a week after Mani announced that he would be going on tour next year. The lengthy tour was set to span from September 2026 to June 2027.
The show was to be a series of intimate conversations, titled 'The Stone Roses, Primal Scream, and me: An intimate evening with Gary 'Mani' Mounfield'.
