During a chaotic 2024-25 girls basketball season, Palmyra could always count on two things from its standout forward: fierce rebounding and a can-do attitude.

Mya Doster will be taking those winning traits, and much more, to the next level.

The Cougars’ senior recently announced that she plans to extend her basketball career at Lackawanna College in Scranton.

“I love the coaches and the girls that I met are super sweet,” said Doster at PennLive’s Mid-Penn Media Day last week.

“I just loved the environment there.”

Doster has played a dynamic role in Palmyra’s success since her freshman campaign, and the 6-0 forward will be among the top returning players and rebounders in the always competitive Keystone Division.
