LA’IE (HawaiiNewsNow) - North Shore residents are now able to use a self-service kiosk to renew and print motor vehicle registrations.
The City and County of Honolulu announced the addition Thursday, saying it is now installed at a Foodland store, located at 55-510 Kamehameha Highway.
The touch-screen terminal operates like an ATM and allows residents to complete renewals in minutes while avoiding lines and wait times associated with mail or online registrations.
Expanding access across Oahu
The new North Shore location brings the total number of bright yellow kiosks to nine across Oahu.
The self-service terminals processed a record-breaking 165,656 motor vehicle registration renewals last year in the City and County of Honolulu, representing a 9 percent increase from 2023.
