The Chicago Bears released their latest injury report Thursday, and it featured a key update on cornerback Jaylon Johnson.
While there was some bad news on the injury front, Johnson was able to practice in full as he looks to come back from a groin injury that landed him on injured reserve earlier this season.
Johnson has only appeared in one game this season for the Bears, and hasn’t played since September 14 against the Lions. He rejoined the team for practice last week, and could suit up for Chicago when they face the Steelers on Sunday.
On the other side of the coin, the Bears’ linebacker corps has been decimated by injuries so far this week. Tremaine Edmunds (groin), TJ Edwards (hand/hamstring), and Noah Sewell (elbow) were all out of practice today for the second straight day.
