TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Tucson Police Department responded to a local school on Wednesday after a report of a student who allegedly made a threat to one of their peers.
According to TPD, the student in connection with the alleged threat, at Lauffer Middle School, was charged with one count of threats and intimidation.
TPD said no injuries were reported in the incident. Tucson Police also confirmed the situation was not a stabbing.
Lauffer Middle School Princial Matthew Craft sent a letter to families informing them that the threatening comment allegedly made by the student was reported to school administrators on Nov. 19.
