Bromfield and Rockland’s boys soccer programs have been on opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of state titles.

On one hand, the Trojans have captured 12 total titles since 1986, with five of those coming since 2017. The Bulldogs haven’t reached the mountaintop since 1985, in what was their last appearance in the title game.

But on Friday afternoon in Leominster when No. 4 Rockland (11-5-4) and No. 2 Bromfield (18-1-2) meet, the past won’t matter, all that will matter is the 80 minutes in which these two Division IV powerhouses battle it out for the crown.
