Fields officially signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Clemson. The Tigers women's basketball program is in the middle of a resurgence and the Chattanooga area is no stranger to who's at the forefront.
Former Mocs head women's basketball coach Shawn Poppie, who led the program to back-to-back SoCon titles in his two-year tenure in the Scenic City, now leads the Clemson women's basketball team.
Poppie and his staff formed a relationship with Fields and her family when he was still in Chattanooga. It
