In a post on social media Thursday morning, President Donald Trump called Democratic members of Congress who appeared in a controversial video "traitors" and accused them of "seditious behavior, punishable by death."
The posts were in response to a video that features U.S. Rep. Maggie Goodlander, D-New Hampshire, and other veterans who serve in the House or the Senate telling active-duty members of the military that they can refuse orders that are against the law.
The video sparked outrage among some Republicans. In a pair of posts on Truth Social, Trump said: "seditious behavior from traitors!!! Lock them up???" and then: "seditious behavior, punishable by death!"
