Citing safety concerns, the Downtown Bozeman Partnership Management Committee withdrew Ghassane Moutaoukil’s winning Christmas Stroll poster design, according to a Wednesday announcement.

Instead, this year’s poster is a photograph of the Dec. 6 event's lighted holiday spiders. The change comes after a mountain of criticism from an online mob of social media users speculating whether Moutaoukil's abstract relief-style Christmas Stroll poster design is computer generated, as reported in the Chronicle.
