PLAINVILLE, Conn. (WFSB) - Hundreds of Wicked fans packed the AMC theater in Plainville Thursday for early screenings of “Wicked for Good” before its official release Friday.
The theater transformed into Oz with photo stops for fans, featuring plenty of pink and green decorations. AMC is one of the theaters showing the highly anticipated sequel a day early, making it a hub for the musical’s biggest fans.
“We had to take the day off of work to see the double feature today,” said Mark Karamonte of West Hartford, who attended with his partner Eric.
Eric Karamonte said he grew up with the Broadway show and was excited to see it in a more accessible format.
