A Delhi court on Thursday sent Muzammil Ahmad Ganai, Adeel Ahmed Rather, Shaheen Saeed Ansari and Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay, all close associates of Umar Nabi, who drove the i20 car that blew up near Red Fort on November 10, to 10-day National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody.

Earlier in the day, the NIA took them into custody in Srinagar and produced them in the Patiala House Court in Delhi .

Principal District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna sent the four accused to 10 days of NIA custody on the anti-terror probe agency’s plea, which was seeking 15 days of custodial interrogation.

The three doctors, as well as the Mufti, had earlier been arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. While the Mufti was arrested on October 27, Muzammil was arrested on October 29 and Adeel on Nov
