COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M’s 27-point comeback against South Carolina will be a game etched in Aggies’ memories for a long time.

The situation - being down 27 points at halftime and coming back to win - doesn’t happen often. But a couple of high school coaches, College Station’s Stoney Pryor and A&M Consolidated’s Brandon Schmidt, can recall a time or two where their teams have found themselves in similar holes.

“We’ve definitely been a part of some games where, maybe you go into the game and you’re not supposed to win, or maybe you are supposed to win, but you got to play,” Schmidt said. “Your kids got to play no matter what.
