On Thursday, Chadwick Boseman received a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The actor died of colon cancer in 2020 at the age of 43. Boseman’s wife, Simone Ledward-Boseman, accepted the honor on his behalf, and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and his Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom co-star Viola Davis spoke at the ceremony. Michael B. Jordan and Letitia Wright were also in attendance along with his friends and family.
