Hundreds braved chilly fall air and long lines to get free turkeys and other Thanksgiving foods from the city of Frederick at Harry Grove Stadium on Wednesday.

It was the city’s annual Harvest of Hope, an event Frederick has hosted for over 20 years, according to Michele Ott with the city’s Department of Housing and Human Services.
