Punjab Police, in an encounter, busted a Pakistan-based terror module backed by ISI in Ludhiana yesterday evening. According to our Correspondent, two accused were injured in retaliatory fire after being cornered by police based on specific intelligence regarding their movements. Police acted in self-defence during the encounter. Ludhiana Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma revealed that their foreign handlers had instructed the duo to carry out grenade attacks on government buildings and other targets across the state to create unrest and destabilise peace. Authorities recovered two Chinese-made hand grenades, five advanced pistols, and around 50 live rounds from the suspects.
