Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, Friday morning, has departed for a three-day visit to South Africa. Modi is expected to reach South Africa by 5 PM today. He will participate in the 20th G20 Summit of G20 countries to be held in Johannesburg.
This time's G20 meeting is being hosted by South Africa. This is the first G20 Summit to be held on African soil. PM Modi will stay in South Africa from November 21 to 23. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the Prime Minister will speak in three main sessions.
During the summit, PM Modi will also hold separate meetings with leaders of several countries. Additionally, he will also attend the meeting of India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) countries.
