LINCOLN — After launching with four teams nearly 25 years ago, Nebraska Elite Volleyball has grown to 51 teams and roughly 560 athletes, but this year, the group turned away more than 200 girls for lack of space.
As youth sports nationally grow “insanely” popular — including volleyball in powerhouse Husker territory — club co-founder and president Tony Carrow said he hopes to build a new home.
